A Better Fort Worth for My Children
As a father of three, my vision for Fort Worth extends beyond my classroom and into the future I want for my own children. Like every parent, I want my kids to grow up in a city where they have access to excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and a community that invests in their success. I want them to be proud of the education they receive and to know that their potential is limitless.
The decisions we make today will shape the opportunities available to our children tomorrow. That is why I am committed to ensuring that our schools prioritize student achievement, retain and support high-quality educators, and foster an environment where every child can thrive. My experience as both a teacher and a father gives me a unique perspective—one that understands the importance of education not just as a policy issue, but as a personal responsibility to future generations.
This election is an opportunity for us to reimagine what is possible for District 4. It is a chance to build a school system that uplifts every student, values every teacher, and empowers every family. I am ready to fight for that vision, and I invite you to join me in making it a reality.

Early Life & Background
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1998, into a family that instilled in me the values of faith, resilience, and community. My father, a first-generation immigrant, pursued his calling as a pastor while navigating the complexities of immigration proceedings. His journey was one of sacrifice and unwavering determination—working tirelessly to serve others while striving to build a better future for our family.
Growing up, I watched my father dedicate his life to uplifting those in need, whether by providing spiritual guidance, advocating for families, or simply being a pillar of support for our community. His example left a profound impact on me, shaping my belief in the power of service and the importance of standing up for those who are often overlooked.
From an early age, I became acutely aware of the barriers that many families in our community faced—barriers to education, economic stability, and equal opportunity. These experiences instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and a drive to be part of the solution. I knew that if I wanted to make a difference, I had to start by equipping myself with the tools necessary to advocate for meaningful change.
Educational Journey
My path to higher education was not an easy one. I attended UCLA, where I worked two jobs to support myself. Balancing academics with work was challenging, but it reinforced some of the most valuable lessons of my life—perseverance, grit, and adaptability.
Through my experiences, I came to understand that education is far more than a system of schools and classrooms—it is the most powerful catalyst for transformation, capable of breaking cycles of poverty, empowering communities, and creating new opportunities for future generations. My time at UCLA solidified my passion for education equity and strengthened my resolve to fight for students who, like me, have faced obstacles on their journey to success.
My academic journey has been shaped by a passion for education policy, legal studies, and historical analysis. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, where I focused on the intersection of history, law, and social policies that impact education and marginalized communities. My studies provided me with a deep understanding of systemic inequities and the role of policy in shaping educational outcomes.
To further develop my expertise in education and leadership, I pursued a Master’s degree in Education from Relay Graduate School of Education. My graduate studies centered on instructional leadership, equitable classroom practices, and the use of data-driven strategies to improve student success. This training has reinforced my commitment to ensuring that policies at all levels prioritize educational equity and opportunity for all students.
Teaching Experience
For the past four years, I have had the honor of serving as teacher. I currently serve as a 6th-grade teacher at IDEA Edgecliff Academy. Every day, I step into my classroom with a commitment to not only teaching but also mentoring, advocating, and inspiring my students to believe in their potential.
My role as an educator has given me firsthand insight into the challenges our schools face. I have seen how resource disparities limit opportunities, how teacher retention struggles impact student learning, and how historical underperformance continues to affect academic outcomes. But I have also witnessed something extraordinary—the resilience of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the transformative power of a high-quality education when students are given the support they need to thrive.
Beyond the classroom, I have worked closely with families, ensuring that they have access to the resources and guidance necessary to help their children succeed. I have collaborated with fellow educators to develop strategies that close achievement gaps and provide meaningful learning experiences. My experiences have made one thing clear: real change is possible, but it requires leaders who understand these challenges at a personal level and are committed to taking action.
Why I’m Running
District 4 has long faced systemic challenges in education. According to the Texas Academic Performance Reports, our district consistently lags behind state averages in key areas such as reading, math, and graduation rates. These statistics are not just numbers—they represent students who are not receiving the opportunities they deserve. They represent families struggling to navigate an education system that should be working for them, not against them.
I am running for the District 4 school board because I believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves access to an excellent education. I believe that our schools should be places where students are challenged, supported, and prepared for success—not just in the classroom, but in life.
As someone who has lived and worked in this district, I bring both experience and an unwavering commitment to advocating for policies that will close achievement gaps, invest in teachers, and ensure that our schools have the resources they need. I understand the struggles that our families face because I have lived them. I have worked with the students who need our support the most, and I have seen what they can achieve when given the right opportunities.
I am not a career politician—I am an educator, a community member, and a product of the very system I seek to improve. My campaign is not about politics; it is about the future of our students and the responsibility we have to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed.
This election is an opportunity for us to reimagine what is possible for District 4. It is a chance to build a school system that uplifts every student, values every teacher, and empowers every family. I am ready to fight for that vision, and I invite you to join me in making it a reality.
Together, we can create the schools our students deserve.
